What's the fastest way to get started?
Go to the Paper Lab, pick any demo paper, and explore. No signup required. Then create a free account when you're ready to save your work.
Do I need a paid plan to use KXAI?
No - KXAI works on demo papers with Explorer (free). Scholar adds unlimited papers and Research RAG.
Can I upload my own papers?
Yes, with Scholar and above. Use the 'Add papers' button in your workspace, or link a GitHub repo.
What file formats do you support?
PDFs, arXiv links, GitHub repos, and plain-text notes. If it contains research, we can parse it.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your papers and Research RAG are private to you. We never train on your data. See our Security page for details.
Can I use this with a team?
Yes - Scholar and Professional support shared workspaces. Campus plans are for institutions.
What's the difference between Scholar and Professional?
Scholar is for individuals and research teams. Professional adds priority support and advanced features for professionals and labs.
Do you have an API?
Currently focused on the web app and CLI. Get in touch if you need custom integrations.
Can I download my papers and my Research RAG?
Yes - export your RAG as a SQLite file from your workspace. Your papers stay in your account.
